Mildly. One brief scene has a panty shot (which other characters are attacked for looking at), the rabbit character occasionally dresses up in a Playboy Bunny-like outfit a few times as an attempted (but never successful) distraction, and the central villain has a very skimpy outfit. However, that's all.
Hols the bull, is the butt of two of these. One in episode 11 in a parody of magical girl transformations, where at least one character comments on how unpleasant he looks. Another in episode 23 has him transformed into the spirit of milk as part of the story of The Bluebird of Happiness. His appearance is laughed at by Bakumaru the mouse.
Technically not a plane, but Kirinda, the Rangers' ship, is shot out of the sky in late episode 20 (and the aftermath is seen in early episode 21), though doesn't actually crash in this instance. There is is actual crash landing in episode 37 and the aftermath of another is seen in episode 32. In all cases, however, the characters inside are usually fine beyond minor injuries.
Several anthropomorphic animals are picked off one by one during the final battle. Two are crushed in a rockslide, two fall off a crumbling ledge, one is electrocuted to death onscreen by the villain, two are trapped in an explosion, one is hit by an energy blast, two are killed in close combat, and one takes a shot for someone else. None of them are graphic, however, and most of them are brought back.
There is no outright assault, but in episode 8, Souffle the sheep is grabbed by a group of thugs looking to "play" with her. However, she is quickly rescued before anything actually comes of it. The imagery may still be uncomfortable to some viewers.
One character is caught on a damaged cliff during the final battle, and another is dragged along while trying to save him. They both, however, come back with everyone else.
In Episode 5, the subplot is about the chicken Tart feeling insecure about herself, thanks to her loudmouthed teammates. Her weight is one of the factors pointed out. The subplot ends with a transformation into a slender human form that she takes for the rest of the series - something which fans generally agree was a bad idea.
The series takes a very sharp dark turn in the last third compared to the lighthearted rest of the series - most of the entries for this series involve that portion - but things do turn out well in the end.
