YMMV a to how spider-like the mimics are, but they are aliens.

One character drinks while on the job and receives emails from their boss saying its getting out of hand, there's no drinking on screen but lots of bottles around the workstation.

The body of a crew member found in open space has an audio recording on her that was made as she asphyxiated.

Neuromods are added through the eye. It is only shown a couple of times but is alluded to more often.

Towards the end of the game, an audio message by a NPC can be relayed to the player telling them that they've broken their arm and need help, however it's revealed to be a set-up by one of the main antagonists.

There is an alien that BEHAVES like a ghost (is invisible, makes weird noises like whispers and footsteps, throws things) but is its explicitly an alien, not a ghost.

While it's not 'possession' in the traditional sense, there's an alien enemy in the game with mind control powers that can turn human NPCs against the player. Defeating the alien causes all humans it was controlling to fall unconscious.

Spider-like mimics disguise themselves as objects and launch themselves at the player when they get too close. Multiple sudden, scripted jumpscares involving dead bodies or aliens.

A very minor character, but it is potentially a plot point, depending on how you play.

Upgrading or getting new powers involves sticking a machine with a needle on it into your eye. A one-time animation of the player character doing this is shown the first time a power is obtained, and it is noted by several characters that one of their eyes is red from repeated usage.

Several NPCs commit suicide, as indicated by the notes they leave behind. However, no characters explicitly kill themselves or display signs of trauma.

There's lots of squeezing through gaps and going through maintainence tunnels but you can always turn around with full 360 degree movement and escape. If you're unlucky you could get cornered by an enemy while in a tunnel.

One of the enemies makes your camera sensitivity super high and adds a slight shake to your view. You can cure it with alcohol or get a permanent upgrade to cancel the effect or just choose to ignore the enemy completely.

During one quest, you find a woman trapped in space whose girlfriend has died before the events of the game. It is implied that she runs out of oxygen and dies after you complete the quest.

There's a questionnaire at the start that proposes an alternate solution to the 'trolley problem' where pushing a fat guy onto the train tracks will stop an oncoming train from killing people tied to the tracks. There's also an achievement called 'Push the Fat Man' that is rewarded for killing one of the main characters, who is fat, and there's a visual gag in that character's apartment with boxes on top of a treadmill and unread emails from his physician telling him to exercise.

Not a nuclear explosion, but a couple of the possible endings involves the detonation of the space station that the game takes place on, which creates a rather large explosion.

Bloody or grossly emaciated bodies are seen around the station. Large blood splatters when people are shot. Mind-controlled people have their heads explode if you get too close; you see a large red cloud, and a stump.
