There is blood during and occasionally after combat, including if your character stealth-assassinates an NPC. There is also sometimes bloody looking remains/bones decorating dungeon areas. I cannot recall identifiable organs. There are zombies and sometimes charred remains.
One of the main bad guys is a deity with the nickname “King of Rape”, but apart from one backstory not shown on screen, this is not depicted. The nickname does get brought up randomly.
None portrayed on screen or involving any characters you can meet, only in random snippets of mythology/lore which tend to be skippable. Similar to real-life mythology
Some NPCs are suggestive towards the player or other characters or talk euphemistically about off-screen encounters. You do not see or participate in anything even close to making out.
LGBTQ characters are so common and not-remarked-upon that I’m not even sure there are in-world terms for sexuality to differentiate between straight or not. Absolutely no character ever remarks negatively on another being LGBTQ
MANY characters use insults relating to intelligence levels or sanity, including directed at your character, and including in main quests. I cannot recall any instances of this being directed at characters with prostheses or the character in a wheelchair, or deaf or blind characters.
LGBTQ characters are so common and unremarkable that I don’t think there are even words for being “not straight”, so no one has to hide or announce their preferences.
There are no babies, children, or even teens in this game. A very few (skippable sidequest) characters mention being pregnant, but they aren’t showing.
You, the player character, almost constantly. Enemies you fight. Random non-player characters. And sometimes characters you interact with a lot and are meant to like.
There are no references to real world religions in this game. There is extensive in-world lore and mythology which can be central to certain quest lines as you directly interact with beings that are essentially gods. You also interact with religious people, clergy, and fanatics.
There are thematically and aesthetically similar realms rules by “evil” deities and their servants who look like fantasy demons. This is a major part of the game.
No one is lied to with the purpose of making them believe themselves to be crazy. There is lying and there is a god of madness who has expected effects on people, but these are separate and there is no gaslighting
One character is looking for someone she used to know, not knowing this character has transitioned or ever wanted to. There is no deadnaming after the reveal.
Not in the realistic sense of an older person experiencing senility, but there is a god of madness who has a realm literally named dementia, and characters suffering there
There is a god of madness who can touch on uncomfortable depictions, but no characters are meant to have DID.
There is a quest in the main storyline where there are literally two consciousnesses inside one body.
There are khajiit enemies in the game, and even larger cat-like enemies in the Elsweyr expansion. Your Non Combat pets, however, are invulnerable to all damage.
Zombies do this at your character during combat. Drunk non-player characters sometimes wander around and vomit in certain areas, both inside taverns/inns and on the streets. A character vomits during a sidequest in the Northern Elsweyr region. These instances tend to have voice acting, sounds, and visuals.
Occasionally before fighting a boss or during plot-forward actions of quests, the camera will shake and your character will fall, be knocked back, or will crouch.
