Possibly??? Crash and Coco don't know who their parents are. And while Crash seems to be an adult, Coco is quite clearly a kid.

Kind of. The main villains do experiments on various animals in order to turn them into their minions, including Crash himself. An experiment they do on Crash is shown on-screen, where they electrocute him and he makes pained sounds.

There are bee enemies in the second game that chase the player, in the levels Diggin' It and Bee-Having. In the second and third games, there are levels where friendly fireflies follow the player to light the way through the dark, in the levels Night Fight, Totally Fly and Bug Lite.

Sorta. If Crash gets hit by a frog, it pins him down and forcibly kisses him to turn into a prince, as a parody of the Princess and the Frog folktale.

Not a toy, and it doesn't even suffer any onscreen damage, but some of Coco's death animations will have her laptop be all that remains of her. In the opening cutscene for Crash 2, her laptop's screen switches off suddenly, but only because the battery is fried, not because of any defects with the laptop itself.

The mask characters, Aku Aku and Uka Uka, are actually the spirits of long-dead humans embodied by magical masks. This is never really explained in-game, coming from supplementary material.

Moreso in Crash 3. The time twister cutscenes are played as the characters talking to Ctash and Coco, but since they look at the camera, it can also feel like the characters are talking directly to the player.

Papu Papu is one big fat joke, especially in the remake. Whereas in the original, the level just fades to black after Crash defeats him, the remake has him jumping on Papu's belly to exit his hut and by extenstion the level.

There are no black characters in the game, most of the characters are non-human or have an unnatural skin color like yellow or blue (aside from N. Gin and the lab assistants who are all white and Papu Papu who, given his attire and the game's use of Australian animals, is likely meant to be aboriginal)

The character Pinstripe Potoroo fires a tommy gun multiple times during his boss fight. The final boss, Dr. Cortex, will fire a sci-fi laser gun at you. N. Gin, who appears in the 2nd and 3rd games, will also fire lasers at you. The 3rd game also introduce a power-up called the fruit bazooka, which you can use to fire fruit at obstacles or enemies, though it is optional in most cases. In all of these situations, no blood or gore is shown if you or an enemy get hit.
