Maya’s boss questions her, asking whether Maya was responsible for helping Nanjo/Elly evade media questioning. You have two options for responses. One is to say you weren’t there at all and act like you have no idea what she’s talking about, or tell her that she must have been really tired to make that mistake. Either way, you’re gaslighting her into thinking Maya was never there when her boss outright saw her there, even if Maya was doing the right thing by stopping the media from approaching Nanjo/Elly.
