The death of one particular parent is a massive event that influences much of this series' story, including this spinoff. There are flashbacks to what this parent was like alive but in this game, his death is not touched upon or shown.

No, however in one case a child has a balloon which then pops. She pops it herself as a joke to scare another character.

One of the major antagonists of the second game dresses up as a clown. Also, another clown character returns for a case.

The culprits have "breakdowns" when they are caught. Also, in the second game, a character repeatedly bursts into tears when he is stressed.

The camera shakes occasionally to punctuate dialogue.

No, but at one point,in the second game, a character says to his 17-year-old son,"Do you want to go home and play with Daddy?" (or something to that effect), and in context it's incredibly creepy and can be interpreted in several different ways, none of them pleasant and many of them potentially triggering.

A character is frequently referred to as being "stupid", "not very bright", etc etc

In the final case, one character dresses as Santa. Another character scolds him for it, citing that Santa isn't real.

Especially in the second game; abuse is a major theme. Some emotional abuse happens on screen.
