Yukon Territory, Canada, November 1931. Albert Johnson, a trapper who lives alone in the mountains, buys a dog almost dead after a brutal dogfight, a good deed that will put him in trouble.
dead bodies [not rotting or anything just after fight scenes] , blood and bloodstains on screen, there is mention of a characters face getting shot off but it's not shown, dead animal bodies on screen and short talk about preparing hunted deer meat. also mention of possibility of dead character getting eaten by dogs [dogs aren't wild but aren't properly taken care of and are aggressive]. most of those scenes are short [they usually are couple of seconds]
Not on screen but on some point there is mention of somebody committing suicide (that character is mentioned by name but neither is he important to the story nor has he ever appeared).
one of the male characters gets kissed [by force] by older [and a bit drunk] dude (but frees himself and beats the dude down) after some kind of "we don't have pretty boys here" werid speech
main characters home is destroyed by explosion and the rest of the movie he is chased after and we don't know if or when he gets a new safe place to stay at
