Rachel's age is never mentioned, but she acts quite young and naively.

When Natives come demanding a trade for a young woman, it's assumed by some that they want her for her beauty, presumably for sexual reasons. The commentary is very mild on this, though.

Later, people demand to undress the young woman to find some kind of proof of her heritage. It doesn't actually happen, could still be triggering.
