The movie begins with a girl being taken to the hospital and saying she's been raped. Then the rest of the movie is a flashback leading up to the events. She is being stalked, and then it's finally attacked and raped by a boy. After that, the movie becomes a commentary on how terrible the system is for victims of sexual assault. The girl is gaslit, not believed, blamed for her own assault, and the rapist eventually gets off with a slap on the wrist.

The act itself is not particularly graphic, because this was a TV movie from the 70s.
