This series is primarily about animal enrichment and veterinary care. A number of animals die, including a snow leopard and a tiger; the former is euthanized when extremely sick and suffering from a neurological infection, and the tiger dies under anesthesia. However, the care taken for every one of these animals is extraordinary, and it’s clear that their quality of life is the only consideration — cost is no object. Animal death is clearly extremely emotional for the caretakers and vets involved, and they feel the loss of these animals deeply.

Please clarify — these votes may be for a different show, there’s a horror movie called The Zoo as well. Torture doesn’t make sense in a veterinary care documentary.
