Not abused as such, but a man who owns two big cats (a lion and a tiger) can't easily afford food for them regularly enough and he says they're "hungry, haven't eaten in days". The lion has very few teeth so cannot fend for himself and needs the guy's care. He eventually kills a cow for his cats but it's unclear as to if they got fed. At the end of the film (possible spoiler!.....)

.... the man is in prison, so it's not known what happened to the two beautiful big cats.

A cow is shot and butchered to feed big cats. You don't see them being eaten but you do see (and hear) the butchering. Mute the film and look away for about 20 seconds

A lovely cow. Rather upsetting, unfortunately I didn't get time stamps but there's warning for this scene, it's not too sudden. Just mute and look away when they're approaching the cows about midway through the film.
