Not really. Hilda is a very safe show for the most part but Hilda's mum is harsh with her sometimes or gets annoyed at her but most of the time comes around or apologises or feels bad.
In S2 ep10, the boy who threw rocks at the birds in season 1 is pulled by his ear and to stay away from Hilda by his Mum. Happens just after twig jumps into Hilda's arms.
No but the side effects of enchantment include fits that resemble seizures in s1e8. She also has a fit while driving causing them to crash though they are unharmed
Accidentally in s1e4 and intentionally in s1e10. Is season three there is a rumplestiltskin-like character that makes a deal to save the life of a sick baby but gets to keep the baby in return
In s3e2 Frida says „maybe she can try some [pancakes] if you leave some for her” to David, which might trigger some especially since it comes out of nowhere
No ones diagnosed… I would say Johanna shows signs of PTSD as she had a traumatic childhood experience and is scared for Hilda. Third series this comes out. Hilda is mentioned to be “traumatised” by adventures but it feels like a casual (incorrect) use rather than literal.
Characters show symptoms/traits of mental disabilities such as: Autism (many), ADHD (Hilda and Anders), PTSD (mostly Johanna). Victoria van gale is kinda presented as delusional, like not as a casual use thing, like she literally believes stuff.
Usually when characters are in small spaces you don’t see it. In series 3 eps: The Forgotten Lake and The Laughing Merman, people are in caves. I find the merman one a bit claustrophobic as someone with mild claustrophobia.(
At the end of s1e2 there is lightning flashes. The intro also flashes between different colors. In s1e3 the Raven makes lightning flash as hilda rides him. In s1e4 a camera makes a flash. In s1e5 there is flashing lighting in in the intro with the troll and when the giant troll comes through the window and lightning flashes when we cut to a destroyed statue. In s1e6 after David drops his headlamp it flickers there is a flickering light after they meet the rat king. S1e8 the lights flicker above the stage when Hilda disenchants David and her mum. There is flashing lightning in s1e10 after victoria van gale fakes being fine over radio, they fly through the storm and when the raven lands and transforms and constantly while Hilda talks to and battles the clouds. Lighting flashes as they go through the clouds in and when the lady takes images s2e1. A flashing lightbulb during the basement scene in s2e5 and when they leave victorias house a lightning flash strobes and when Victoria casts a spell to animate the nisse. Tontu takes pictures with the flash on repeatedly in s3e1. Lots of flashing in s3e4 has flashing whenever Louise uses her camera
Hilda and her family originally build their house on land that belongs to the hidden elf people, being an allegory to white people settling on Indigenous land, she eventually realizes how her and her family living o top of elf kind and displacing them was an issue and learns from the elves about their culture and lives and how she has impacted it and how her family building on their land perpetuated harm. However it is originally shown as the elves being unreasonable and violent as well as the mayor being an antisemetic trope. The same point is brought up with trollberg, they built walls to keep trolls out and slaughtered them when it was their land first
Almost all trolls have long noses. And have hoards. Nisse often have large noses and steal things. I don’t think it’s intentional but could be accidental.
A teenage witch makes David, an around ten year old, blush but no relationship happens and johanna makes Alfie blush but no relationship happens eaithwr and I don’t think that interaction is intented to be romantic
There are homeless spirits that are portrayed as being the i world version of homeless people and some very anti-homeless language is used but they eventually resolve the issue by helping the spirit. Hilda’s home in the forest is also smashed in one of the first episodes. Alfie is also removed from his home in one episode but it is resolved
In season 1 episode 8 at the end of the episode, Hilda's mom drives the car off the road while Hilda, David, and Frida are in the car. All characters are unharmed
