About 1/3 of the way in, a small black dog the lead character is dog-sitting gets stabbed by Benny (a homicidal stuffed animal). It gets messy, especially because the man is panicking and trying to make the dog’s body look normal and peaceful so he can tell the owner the died in his sleep. It does not work at all and completely backfires as the dog’s body lands and splatters right on the poor owner’s windshield just as he pulls up to pick up the dog. This movie is a horror-comedy so the violence with the dog’s body is cartoonish and over the top. The practical effects are (purposely) not very realistic and it looks more like a stuffed toy that got wet, you can’t see much of his face. Still, you might want to just fast-forward through it.
Kind of -- at the very end, the narrator addresses the audience, and then the discarded/possessed toys look into the camera and say "you're special." It could be triggering if that's something you're sensitive to.
