Not only meat is shown but in an episode they visit a butcher, so yes, animals were definitely harmed for this show.

If this entry is for the FX / Hulu show about a restaurant, then no, there are no horses in the show.

carmy`s mother demonstrates abusive traits. threatening to kill herself, guilt tripping her kids and other family members, notably carmy, and even resorting to violent outbursts when she feels her family members don`t appreciate her cooking an elaborate meal for them

Not really domestic violence, but someone might be triggered by the items thrown around, yelling, aggression, etc. in episode 7

As described in finger/toe mutilation on this page, people cut their fingers multiple times usually on accident.

In episode 1 and in episode 3, people have their fingers cut. In the first episode it's not noticed until later when the chef sees himself bleeding. A decent amount of blood but he puts a band-aid on quickly. In episode 3 a chef is walking around the kitchen and as she's crossing behind someone talking she goes to grab a box cutter and cuts her finger, a quick moment with no blood and she puts on a glove soon. Later she takes off her glove to wash her hands and there is a lot of blood shown in this moment, but passes after about 20 seconds. This show has a lot of cutting of foods by chefs so if the anxiety/anticipation of that is stressful this would be a show to avoid.

A parent does not but the main plotline deals with a man whose brother died and the grief/aftermath of that.

NOT SAFE. A character is seen outside the restaurant at 29 mins (they run outside to “get some air”), 37:08, and 38:15. The first time it is heard, not seen. I’m not sure if it is seen at the last two time stamps (I closed my eyes) but it is heard.

Not as often as one might think with a show about food, but there's one moment in the second episode where it's very close to a character's mouth as he eats a sandwich and there's intense misophonia.

Before the show's plot begins, a character killed himself and left a restaurant to his brother. The brother is the main character so the suicide is discussed frequently as the characters grieve him.

might count in the fact the main character has frequent dreams and sort of "attacks" when reminded of his brother being alive or caused by his brother offing himself at least once severely per episode, most in the first and last episode and when the stove fire happens ep7 but the reason wasnt because he was reminded of his brother something else cant spoil

In season 2 there are a few uses of the term "Jewish lightning", it's explained and they are reminded not to say it because it's offensive.

In the first episode there is a quick moment of the f-slur. In the same moment there is some derogatory language like, "fairy," and "c*cksucker."

There's moments where characters cut their fingers in the kitchen (detailed elsewhere on this page) and there's usually a decent amount of blood that accompanies that.
