As this is a veterinary medicine show, there are some instances of pets dying. I would say the saddest was the “broken bunny” episode, as the bunny had died due to a tragic freak accident, and also because the bunny was the pet of some young kids and their parents. There’s also another rather sad one with a pet snake who had managed to pull through a tricky surgery but died due to complications (and this snake was the pet of one of the main vets on the show).

I’m saying “no” because it’s a show about helping animals get better. They do help animals who have been harmed but the animals weren’t harmed specifically for the show. It is a docuseries, though, so the patients are real animals and all injuries and illnesses are real.
