Yes, but in a roundabout way, there are two categories of magical beings in the magical world, elves and fairies, and a lot of them are racist towards, people like the main character who is neither elf of fairy but a bit of both and human as well, there is quite a lot of prejudices in the magical world, towards halfling, triling and humans. And between each other as well.
