Most of the time, the rescue is a succes. However, there's often material damage and sometimes people get injured but get hospitalized and treated. This happens off-camera and is only mentioned.
In one episode, there's been a fatal crash. The front cabin of a truck is destroyed and for a second there's a subtle shot of blood dripping from the front. It is mentioned that the driver did not survive. But no body is shown.
In one episode, there's a fat truck driver who has a large cargo truck that bulges out. The rescue worker comments on the man's weight and how the truck looks like its driver.
During some of the rescues, trucks and cars with flashing lights are shown. When it's dark, flashing lights are also used to warn drivers of upcoming danger/road works.
In one episode, there's a fatal truck crash and the driver is assumed to have been buried in the damaged front side of the truck which is completely destroyed. The body is not shown.
In the beginning of season 05, Joe Rogers' arm has been broken. He wears an arm bandage to recover. The fall that led to his broken arm, gets renacted but nothing graphical is shown. This scene gets repeated a few times through the first episodes of season 05. After that, it's only mentioned and the bandaged arm is sometimes shown.
The entire show is about road rescues and often features cars, trucks and other vehicles who have crashed into ditches, mountains, snow, roads or other cars. Sometimes there is an renactment of the collisions.
Sometimes the rescue workers have to crouch underneath a stranded truck/vehicle. This tends to get claustrophobic and there are risks of being crushed if the vehicle falls down. Luckily, this has never been the case.
