Follow the Alaskan adventures of the Tobin family as a single dad does his best to keep his weird bunch of kids close, especially as the artistic dreams of his only daughter lead her away from the family fishing boat and into the glamorous world of the local mall.

In fictionalized flashbacks, there is a pile of dead animals and “dead beaver baseball” (both instances of dead animals shown onscreen are extremely brief, especially the beaver). I’m usually very upset about things like this but they happened so quickly that I didn’t really have time to register that they were happening
