Ehhh not really — Betsy in season one is clearly an adult actress but playing a teenager of an unknown age. One of the main characters only pursues her as a way to get out of Schmigadoon (although he might be attracted to her as well, I thought it was a bit of a gray area). When he finds out that she’s much younger than she looks, he instantly wants to leave and stop pursuing her. When he’s almost forced to marry her, he gets out of it twice and is clearly not interested.

The characters do have a dog at home that’s not with them when they accidentally go to Schmigadoon, but it doesn’t seem like they abandoned him necessarily because they intended to come back much sooner than they did due to being trapped. Plus they don’t show them leaving him on screen

Yes and no, it's a gag that clearly an adult actress is playing a child character that is sexualized. It's being criticized by other characters

Season 2 has a lot of stuff about orphans. Also before the events of the show, Jenny’s father was framed for murdering her mother and was imprisoned — so not intentionally abandoning her, but still abandonment nonetheless

The Tunnel of Love person tells the main character that she's trying to make him fall for her, and then says he wasn't singing immediately after his song.

Yes and no. The premise of the show is 2 modern people being stuck in a musical. The main characters are fully aware of them being in a musical, talk about it, criticize casting or wording choices and so on. Part 2 have a narrator. However, the main characters, the one that stack in the musical are not aware of them being in a show, never talk to the camera, and keep this story "behind the 4th wall"

The word "lame" is used in reference to a physical injury, in the same way it is used in the Bible when Jesus heals a physically incapacitated person.

There are age gaps between Dove Cameron (27) and Aaron Tveit (39), and Cecily Strong (39) and Patrick Page (61). The second "couple" is not physical beyond hugging and hand-holding, though the first is implied to have had sex.

A LOT of innuendo (verbal and visual aka fruits being references to genitals), but no outright sex scenes. Mostly implied right before and the morning after. One of the main characters in one scene in season 2 says two characters are probably having sex in a crate, and you see a crate rocking, but no noises or images. Season 2 has a lot of show girls in provocative costumes, but no nudity

The lawyer character is an attractive woman and the show plays into that a lot. Characters (mostly men) sing about how attractive she is and there are many innuendos made during said songs.
