Tombstone's minions use the drug he was exposed to as a child to briefly render themselves invincible. Drug deals are some of the crimes Spider-Man can foil to earn Crime Tokens in regular gameplay.

Spider-Man can be injured by flames.

Raft escapees can throw Molotov cocktails at Spider-Man. Neither of these cause permanent injury or scarring.

Spider-Man is given a bunch of challenges by Taskmaster, one of which requires Spider-Man to save a kidnapping victim from a group of mercenaries silently.

Spider-Man is also given a side quest where he takes on Screwball, a villainous streamer, who tells Spider-Man if he takes part in her challenge, he can save a kidnapping victim. This is a ruse however, as the "victim" is herself.

Police are shown in a good light and often work with Spider-Man, but it's not a central theme. Spider-Man also sometimes portrays a character called "Spider-Cop."

DID is misrepresented with Martin Li’s “evil alter.” If you count them as minorities, Russians are also stereotyped (Rhino speaks broken English and there are quips conflating being Russian with the USSR and being “cr*zy”).

Occasional, brief allusions to sex are made during the game. In the DLC campaign "The Heist", Spider-Man is indirectly stated to have had unprotected sex with Black Cat at some point.
