Depends. There are demons who are dogs, and they can die during battle, either by your side or as an enemy. It's important to note that they are very fantasious and, at the very least in battle, where the animations are very minimal and non-explicit, are defeated uncerimoniously, by simply dissapearing and making a noise, in this case a howl.
In a more literal sense no, but one could be uncomfortable with animal demons fighting each other, even in the very crude way that the in-game battles play out.
Same as abuse: Literally no, but one could be uncomfortable with demon animals fighting each other, even in the very crude way that the in-game battles play out.

No shaving or self-harm scenes.
Many demons and several characters in the game use bladed weapons (mainly swords), however the attack animations aren't very graphic.
A character's arm is cut off in the back-half of the game. The event itself is not shown and the aftermath is not graphic.
Besides some demons that look like bugs, a character becomes a half-demon by being given a Magatama, a bug parasite. Except for one scene in the very beggining, when that character becomes the half-demon, which is particularly nervre-wracking, the magatama's appearence is not really shown afterwards.
Worth noting that there's an area in the game that allows the player to jump off a building at a great height, leaving them one hit from death when they land.
No human kids, but some demons talk (Ex: Obariyon) and may look like (Ex: Alice) kids. Also, some of the characters, including the player character, are high school aged.
The main setting of the game takes place in an unstable reality that’s in a sort of limbo transitionary state between how the world was before the apocalypse and what it will be remade into afterwards by whoever triumphs in the end.
[Non Specific Spoiler]
Both an proiminent organization and one of the main characters, that can be an ally or an enemy depending on the player's choices, have ableism as part of their philosophy, going out of the way to persecute those who they see as weak.
In this game, it's essential to recruit demons to join your party, and you do that by negotiating with them to join you or for other reasons, like giving money/items, among others. The player character can always do that, but some other demons can also do that if they have certain skills. Some of them are most effective depending on the talker and the target's age and gender, and the skills "Seduce" and "Wooing" require a female talker and a male target, and those skills have the adverse effect if it's a male talker talking to a male target. Additionally, some demons may plea for mercy in exchange for a hint, and one of those hints involve explaining the "Seduce" and "Wooing" mechanic, with some "relatable" dialogue.
Relatively mild however: Some demon designs, especially ones gendered by the game as "female" demons, are sexualized, and some of those demons have their battle sounds (aka, sounds they make after attacking, casting a spell etc.) as suggestive moans (Ex: High Pixie)
Not an explosion per-se, but the game takes place in the aftermath of an apocaliptic event that happens at the very beginning of the game. The cutscene showing this also includes flashing lights and shaky visual effects.
[Non-specific spoilers]
There is a non-optional boss fight in the Maniax and Chronicle versions of the game that uses gun attacks. The attack animations aren't very graphic. This boss appears again in an optional dungeon later in the game.
