[Minor spoiler] They make references to Schrodinger's Cat which is a thought experiment in which a cat is both dead and alive (quantum superposition)

Rose freaks out after she breaks down the door and sees all the bodies. Also, she panics when she realizes what is going to happen to her sister

In the third chapter, you find the body of a woman who hung herself in her bathroom. While it's possible to avoid looking at her, you have to go into the room to get a keycard to progress.

It's kind of subjective, but I would describe it as bittersweet

Deaths are quite gruesome, especially the parts with Luther and with the creatures. Dead bodies can be found throughout. There's also a number of mutulated corpses. There's one part where you walk into a room after breaking down a door, and you'll know it's coming bc Rose gasps, and it's pretty gruesome. Another part with mutulated bodies is with Luther in the maze part. If you really can't do gore/violence then I would not recommend playing this game. I cannot watch the parts where Luther kills Rose or the creatures. Any time I know I am going to die I have to look away. There's no way to fight in this game and Rose does not move very fast, so it's likely you'll die a time or two because you don't know the floor layout and there's no map.
