homelessness isn't talked about (though i might be misremembering), but there are many points where cities are destroyed, leaving unknown but large amounts of people without homes.
there is a scene in a character's backstory where they are split from their parent, which isn't outright abandonment, but might be hard to watch for those looking to avoid this.
alongside this, there is a character whose entire family died, though again, this isn't purposeful abandonment.
child abuse is arguably one of the main themes of the game, especially through the eyes of the children in question. there is discussion of physical abuse (though i'm not sure if it was shown on screen), a different character is emotionally abused for a large portion of the story, and lastly, a third character's parental figure sees the character as nothing more than food.
There is one horse-like enemy that I know of: Amdusias. In one instance it's an optional sidequest, and later on it's an enemy that you can run from most of the time.
There are many optional monsters that look like cute, fluffy animals that you may be faced with having to kill. Some of these enemies include but are not limited to the squirrel-like Mu, parrot-like Garuda, disturbingly adorable ram-like Yans, and Trick Sparrows.
Note that running is almost always an option (especially with Yans) and you could pretend that you're not killing these animals, but simply.... knocking them out?
There are a few dragon enemies. Grand Dragon, Silver Dragon, Red Dragon and Nova Dragon. There's also Ironite and Serpion, which both resemble dragons.
There is also a scene where a dragon is abused, if that bothers you too.
a character is seperated from their parent and raised as someone else, complete with being given a new name and not being told anything about their birth parent.
while not inherently sexual in nature, a lot of older characters do comment on how beautiful or pretty the 16 year old princess is, in ways that are a little bit concerning. one such character has a doll of the princess that he sleeps with.
not mouth sounds, but if you're sound sensitive then i would recommend turning the volume down while playing the tetra master minigame. the sounds in it are ridiculously loud and high pitched.
Quina is referred to by most characters using "s/he". Occasionally NPCs refer to Quina with either masculine or feminine pronouns. Quina never remarks on this, and Quina's preferred pronouns, if any, are never stated.
Bittersweet because a major character death (Vivi) is implied, and a good portion of the world has been wrecked and is rebuilding, but we're not talking a truly horrible ending or an esoteric one here.
