Total Drama World Tour
TV Show • 2010 • Animation
ReportTotal Drama World Tour is the third season of the Total Drama franchise that began with Total Drama Island and Total Drama Action. The series extension was commissioned by Teletoon from the producers, Fresh TV, Inc. In this series, fifteen returning contestants and three new contestants are taken on a trip around the world, and compete in cultural themed challenges of countries they visit. An added twist in this season is that they are required to break spontaneously into song, or else be immediately eliminated. The original cast from this and past seasons do not compete in the next season, Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, as there is a new cast. However, nine of these original contestants each have a cameo in the next season, while seven of them return to compete again in the fifth season, Total Drama All-Stars. This series is rated TV-PG-D in the United States and Australia.

The main villain of the season often manipulates and lies to the other characters in order to take them out of the game. Specifically, they attempt to seduce them.

None of the characters use any specific drugs, but at the end of "Chinese Fake Out", Sierra uses "love me tea" on Cody, which puts him in a numb state in the next episode, "Niagara Brawls." In "African Lying Safari", multiple of the characters are numb/passed out due to Tranquilizer.

In the episode "Chinese Fake Out", the contestants are given donkey meat, which is stated to be from Ace, the donkey Cody rode to the challenge earlier in the episode.

In "Walk Like An Egyptian" part 1, one of the challenges is singing in order to make the scarab beetles calm down. Many shots of the bugs are shown in the episode's song, "Lovin' Time." The song fails to calm the bugs, and many of the contestants get attacked by them.

Throughout the season, Cody is harassed by a female fan. Though nothing explicit happens, she often makes comments about wanting to see him shirtless, wanting to use x-ray vision glasses to see him naked, giving him foot rubs against his will while he is sleeping, and, in "Chinese Fake Out", using "love me tea" on him, and gleefully using his epipen on his butt when he experiences an allergic reaction. In one episode, Cody says, believing he and the other contestants wouldn't survive the challenge, that if he lives, the fan can kiss him. When they do survive, she kisses him on the lips as he attempts to shove her off. Creepy music is played whenever said fan does anything to overstep boundaries.

A running joke through the entire season is Sierra harassing and assaulting Cody. This is constantly played for laughs, though it does show Cody being anxious and uncomfortable because of these experiences

Yes, in an episode where the constants have to face their worst fears, one character is buried alive, not 100% sure which episode but the character survives

No, but each character is eliminated by being pushed out of a plane, while it is flying. All of them are shown to have survived, and none of them are injured.

One of the characters is involuntarily placed in an uncomfortable robot suit in the post-credits scene of "Hawaiian Punch". Another character is bagged in "I See London", but their experience in the bag is not shown and they are not depicted as being in distress because of the lack of space.

In the post credits scene of "Hawaiian Punch", Chris calls one of the characters a "spaz", which is considered a slur specifically against disabled people in the UK. However, it's not generally considered offensive in North America, where the show was made
