Scenes with assault have asterisks (***) after the number.
[1] In Episode 2 from 22:53-23:30 the possibility of assault is discussed between the kidnapper and the person they have captured. It is intended to be a humorous moment between the two, who will later be romantically involved; the kidnapper dismisses his behavior as a joke. No graphic language is used.
[2]***Episode 3 from 18:18 to 18:53. A man abuses his authority with a maidservant. While she tries to help him undress, he touches her face despite her obvious displeasure. He pulls her close to him but she is able to convince him to let her leave. No clothes are removed and no other touching is shown. It is implied that there have been past assaults with this woman and others. Two other characters are observing this incident but decide not to act when the woman is released.
[3]***Episode 4 from 10:40 to 11:33. The man from the second incident forces himself on the woman he marries. Their union is political and she does not completely consent. He attempts to drug her beforehand from 8:15 to 10:38. Onscreen, the characters are both fully clothed as he lies over her; his face is hidden in her neck for several seconds. Nothing further happens, as he is stabbed in the neck.

Episode 4 from 3:34 to 5:21, a lead character bathes in what is implied to be extremely cold water to induce illness. There is no nudity or obvious external injury on her person. Two brief scenes later, she is shown to be recovered. For more details with a slight spoiler, see below.
*********************************************************
With her handmaiden’s assistance, the woman has cold water poured over her as she sits in a tub. She needs an authentic medical excuse to delay her political marriage; a doctor later deduces that she is sick due to problems adjusting to the climate. Her discomfort is expressed with facial expressions throughout the bathing scene. Before the water is used, vapor can be seen rising from it.

The most graphic incident is related to animal death in Episode 2. No wounds are shown in detail, but blood (CGI, makeup, theatrical blood) is used occasionally, both for wounds and on weapons. Weapons are sometimes shown protruding from the human body. There will be martial scenes throughout the show, as it involves conflict between court officials and members of their families. In Episode 2, for example, a travel party is ambushed twice, and fighting is involved.

No; however, a leading character falls into a pit and is kept down there by her captor for all of Episode 2. She is not injured, and her being underground does not impair her ability to breathe.

[1]In Episode 2, a character has a hurt ankle (the WeTV English translation indicates that it is sprained), but it is treated onscreen as if it broken (26:16 to 26:44). The character’s ankle stays covered and the extent that it is hurt is not shown. Anyone with visual or auditory sensitivity to pain or medical treatment may wish to be cautious.
[2] Episode 5; 4:03 to 4:08. A character hurts her ankle on screen and there is a noise. It is reset at 5:30 to 5:33 on screen while covered, also with a noise.

*********************************************************
The lead character is bit on an ankle that was injured previously. She spots the snake on the wall behind the other character just before the snake lunges at them. The snake is grabbed and tossed aside, but is not injured or killed. The wound shown is two tiny pinpricks of blood, but it is touched to analyze how hurt the character is. The snake is not venomous and the character has no lasting harm.

Episode 4 from 3:34 to 5:21, a lead character bathes. She sits in a tub as her handmaiden pours water of an extreme temperature over her. There is no nudity; bare skin from armpit level up and bottom of the thigh down is shown. Details providing context for the water temp below the asterisks, but may include slight spoilers.
*********************************************************
The character bathes in presumably very cold water, as it induces a fever later with no external wounds. This is intentional, as the woman needs an authentic medical excuse to delay her political marriage. Her discomfort is expressed with facial expressions throughout the scene.

There is no recreational drug use in this show, but nonconsensual drugging occurs on multiple occasions. [1] Episode 1 (implied from 35:20-35:40; revisited with a flashback that includes on-screen use from 36:20-36:38).
[2] Episode 4 (8:15 to 10:38); same character is drugged by a different person. Translated as “poisons” in English via WeTV, but in context to the plot, it was meant to incapacitate her. Please see after the asterisks for more details. [3] Episode 4 from 10:40 to 11:33; explained 13:55 to 14:05. The person who drugs the character in the previous incident is given an anesthetic by her through a stab wound.
*********************************************************
[1] One sister drugs the other in order to take her place on the mission they are assigned by the Emperor. There is no malicious intent to this action; both sisters are trying to protect the other from future harm. [2] Given via food on her wedding night by the groom, out of suspicion for her involvement with an assassination plot. This man has committed sexual assault earlier in the show and likely intended to cause further harm. [3] This scene involves sexual assault, and the man is stabbed after a few seconds. Details for the scene can be found under the label for sexual assault.

At the very end of Episode 1, a lead character is kidnapped while traveling (38:33). This is an important part of the beginning of the story, so it will be discussed throughout at least the first few episodes. The kidnapper and the person who is captured will develop a romantic relationship later in the show. Another character is in danger of being kidnapped and harmed in Episode 2. For more details, see after the asterisks.
*********************************************************
After leaving her carriage for a break, the character is kidnapped when she steps away from the travel party. Her kidnapper is seen running behind her before he knocks her unconscious. This is in the last few seconds of the episode. The mood of this incident is one of intrigue and anticipation for the audience based on the music being played; the kidnapper will later be the lead character’s love interest. He is not violent toward her, but he does bind her later in Episode 2. There are further problematic elements while she is hostage, so please see other warnings before proceeding.
