At the beginning of season 1 episode 6, there is suspicion that a cat is harmed, but a few minutes later it is proved wrong. The cast is shown well and healthy.

We're led to believe a cat has been killed, but the cat is safe. It shows up safe and sound and a threat is made against the human, not the cat. Maybe I'm forgetting another scene with a cat, but I suspect some people stopped watching when they thought the cat was harmed.

It's not explicitly a kidnapping, but a child ends up in a car with two people who are not his parents at the very end.

in episode one/two: Lou's night terrors are quite scary, with someone/thing stuck behind her walls trying to get out which could be jump scares for some people as its a sudden thing

Controlling behavior and threatening physical stances. Someone is accused of hitting his wife, who says she ran into a cupboard, but the assailant was a stranger on the street.
