There is a scene in Ep15 that shows a character putting a magical item in their eye, and then later being stabbed in said eye in order to retrieve this item.
A relationship depicted in Ep14 features incredibly unhealthy/abusive behavior (ie, controlling behavior, attempted gaslighting, kidnapping, forced captivity). While no bruises or injuries are shown, at one point, the male character forcibly grabs the female character by the arms and then locks her in a jailcell. This behavior is enough to motivate the female character to escape her situation.
Ep16 briefly shows a scene of a slaughtered nonhuman village. There is a nongraphic but still rather dark image of a mother and child's bodies, with the positioning suggesting the mother was trying to protect the child when they were killed.
Overall, there is very little blood, but a particularly violent death occurs in Ep20 when a character is physically ripped apart. A main character receives a particularly bloody wound in Ep24, which they proceed to die from.
Ep14 features a fire-using villain killing all men who interact with a certain female character. He then burns himself to death out of rage/jealousy/despair near the episode's end.
Ep13 depicts a monk being eaten alive by a villainous character, and said villain spitting out blood-covered robes afterwards. It is not overly graphic or gory, though.
In Ep21, a character summons poisonous insects to use against a villainous character. The villain ends up swallowing and then spitting out the bugs, which results in the aforementioned character being stung and retaining some bloody wounds on their back.
Ep15 depicts the birth of two of the main characters, but it is nongraphic and offscreen. Cries are heard from afar, signaling that they have been born. A scene then takes place shortly after the birth, with no hint of bodily fluids.
Ep23 depicts a character, which had been in suspended animation until that point, waking and then gasping for breath while being submerged, with the implication that their life is in danger. Another character in the same episode also gasps in an exaggerated fashion that suggests a great struggle to breathe while they are dying.

While it is not necessarily presented in the usual manner of an addiction (ie, withdrawal symptoms, physical dependency), one of the main characters uses a specific power up that alters their mental state to a degree and it is implicated that they rely upon this power rather heavily. The implication is that this power up is the equivalent of "doping" and Ep16 centers around how this character should not rely upon this power so heavily.
Though they are not killed, Ep20 features a dark-skinned nonhuman character becoming light-skinned when they turn human and becoming dark-skinned again when they regain their nonhuman traits/powers.
Ep6 features a character possessed by a cat demon. Ep10 also briefly features two of the main characters being possessed. Ep22 features a main character being briefly controlled by a villain.

The implication is that this power up is the equivalent of "doping" and Ep16 centers around how this character should not rely upon this power so heavily.
Ep14 shows a character being kidnapped and held against their will. The captor is mentally and emotionally abusive to this character. This character is eventually locked in a cell that they must escape.
The villain of Ep6 is implied to be the ghost of a demon that was defeated over a century ago, with its remains buried beneath a temple, and has possessed the monk in charge of the temple after he tried to pray for its soul.
An attempt at gaslighting is made in Ep14 when a male character blames a female character for his abusive behaviors (ie, lashing out at the men she was interacting with by trying to convince her that she, by speaking to them in a normal, nonromantic fashion, was somehow displaying seductive/romantic behavior towards them). However, the female character does not believe him or question her actions, so the attempt fails.
Ep23 depicts a character, which had been in suspended animation until that point, waking and then gasping for breath while being submerged, with the implication that their life is in danger. They are placed back in suspended animation before they can properly drown, however.
Ep6 hints at a child being neglected due to her mother being manipulated by a spell and subsequently ignoring her needs.
Ep14 depicts a female character being coveted by men and receiving marriage proposals as early as age thirteen.
Ep15 reveals the mother of two of the main characters, who is depicted as very young and uses a childlike speech pattern in the original Japanese. The timeline implies that she is 14/15 max when the twins are born. Given that she met the twins' father as a child in the original series, and is depicted as a child in Ep1 and in the 2nd OP, this has some unsavory implications and could be triggering to CSA victims.
Ep16 reveals that one of the protagonists, at the age of eleven, was sold into servitude, thus why she is working off a debt.
We find out that the cats cared for like beloved pets by a village are actually demon cats that are controlling the villagers. When the cats are found out, they turn demonic and attack the heroes. The aftermath leaves a lot of dead cat bodies on the ground. Although they are being cut and killed by sword attacks, there is no blood or gore.
Ep24, which is the end of the first season, features the on-screen death of a main character. The villain which caused this death defeats the other two main characters and retreats, leaving them to mourn. Though a method of resurrection is presented, the episode itself ends on the uncertainty of whether or not this method can be used at all.
