A sentient talking cat is shot at but the shots just harmlessly passes through them. It’s revealed later this is because it’s just a projection.

The entire plot is just basically 15 people going through layers upon layers of gaslighting over basically everything in their life.

There’s a gang of bullies who attempt to beat some of the characters up. They almost always lose and end up being the ones who get beaten up but there are one or two instances where they succeed.

Not sexual assault but Okino makes numerous sexual comments at Hijiyama which makes him very uncomfortable and is mostly played up for laughs.

For lack of a better term, yes. Miura’s little sister has her personality and memories erased and replaced by another character to cheat their death and essentially reincarnate as a child. It’s implied they’ve done this hundreds of times before in similar instances to live forever. A similar thing happens to an android character by another android.

Sort of? I would explain further if I could but it’s very complicated and hard to explain (as are most things in this games narrative)

There’s a police chief depicted as strict but kindly who most of the kids mock but it’s implied that a couple of them have a soft spot for him despite this. Aside from him, Police and an FBI-esk secret police are mostly depicted as obstacles in the narrative, who lack any understanding of what’s really happening and just following under the orders of the corrupt commander, whom the characters must avoid.

Ryoko, who wasn’t exactly the most mentally stable person even before getting severe memory issues from brain damage, has her motives and goals repeatedly change on a dime depending on whatever she remembers at the time, sometimes resulting in her being antagonistic, violent and at one point cold blood killing someone.

Megumi has a complete mental breakdown to the point of hallucinating. This results in her shooting herself with a tranquilliser gun which knocks herself unconscious.

Okino, who’s homosexual on top of being either Non-Binary or a cross dresser (it isn’t really clear by the game which), dies and winds up in a limbo-like state only being able to communicate to with Hijiyama through his cockpit. He is however freed and brought back to the real world during the ending timeskip.

Okino crossdresses as a female multiple times either to disguise himself or just because he feels like it. Other characters don’t make jokes about this, but he makes jokes about it himself.

Several characters refer to Okino as female whenever he is dressed as a woman, but correct themselves upon realising he isn’t.

Ryoko, a teenage girl, has a one-sided obsessive crush on an adult man who’s significantly older than her. He never requites this and she kills him when she finds out he doesn’t actually care and was just manipulating her.

Multiple characters are displaced from their respective time periods and wind up stranded decades in the future or past. This results in them being homeless for a period of time, some briefly, while others for a long time.

One of the games major settings is a timeline set in 1945 imperial Japan near the end of WW2. The bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima are referenced heavily multiple times although never shown onscreen. Two characters native to this time period are launched against their will 40 years into the future and their initial goal is to go back in time and prevent the bombings, which they don’t succeed in doing.
