No misgendering, but when the main character "crossdresses" the show makes a big deal insisting that he doesn't have that kind of "hobby" and that he's not a "pervert." Another character says he's too "eccentric."

It is only very briefly alluded to in this season, but the MC is very willing to eat even horrendously spoiled food due to having starved for long periods in the past
there is no actual gore (insides on outsides) but there is a lot of blood. the only thing that counts as gore is when a snake is cut in half later in the first season. any other gore is heavily implied.
