On some planets (I've noticed it most on toxic ones) the underground dirt texture when using the "terrain manipulator" will have multiple holes like a sponge. WILL trigger trypophobia
In the storyline it is revealed the whole universe is a simulation by the ATLAS, that resets every 16 minutes. And interacting with other traveler iteration NPCs on stations will have various dialogs with unstable reality implications
The Korvax can be possibly relatable to those with D.I.D. (as I do) because they are often several entities inhabiting one body. And during some dialogue, like if you're trading, they can switch to an entity who's better at handling trading.
You can buy and sell contraband Geknip and Grahgrah, which are in-game drugs, but it doesn't show people using them. But in conversation, some Vy'keen will use it
If you tame a creature, they are essentially invincible - they'll simply despawn if they take too much damage, allowing you to summon them again once the coast is clear.
Spider/Crab-like animals, flying beetles and butterflies, small bug swarms, and large insects. There's also a miniboss on "Vile Brood" planets that's a giant queen bug who spawns waves of smaller ones
There is a Monolith event that describes your character suddenly being underwater, with attempts to escape met with being held down. None of it appears on screen and your character turns out no worse for wear in the end.
Depends on if you see the "Lost Travelers" as actual ghosts or technology based holographic constructs. Though the way they're described is evocative of ghosts.
You can find logs from a character who is aware of the game's nature as a simulation, who describes feeling the sensation of saving the game and wanting to eventually "wear" the player.
Not during the story but could happen in game with friends. However if you were to get crashed into by an in-game car you would just bounce off and take a little bit of damage.
