Clem meets a dog named Sam who has been left to fend for himself after his Owners sadly died. When looking at Sam, you can tell he’s rather hungry (this will become important in a few seconds.)
You can play a little frisbee with Sam, search for food and pet him. Once you find food, you have the option to share it with him or not. Regardless of your choice. He will still try to take the food from you so he can eat (he’s really hungry and hasn’t eaten in awhile I’d imagined)
Clementine tried to take the food back but he gets mad and attack her which then caused Clem to have to hit him to let go of her arm since he had ahold of it. Once she’s able to kick him off, he goes flying and lands on some metal poles that were sticking up.
The poor thing suffering and truly didn’t mean what he did, he was just another survivor of this dark world our characters live in. You get two options, kill him to end his pain or leave him to die.
I personally chose to end his suffering cause I couldn’t leave the poor thing to slowly die.
its never shown because it was an event before the game starts, but its implied that rebecca's baby with the antagonist might have been from a non-consentual exchange. this is up to interpretation a bit, but its worth mentioning!
in episode 2 you meet a gay couple who both end up dying, one of them by the hands of your own group. the mention of them being partners is very subtle, but the impact of one of their deaths has a heavy toll on the other, so be mindful if that's something you'd rather not see
one character, sarah, shows signs of being autistic (i'm autistic myself so i picked up on it) and although no one says that she's autistic in the game itself or mocks her for it, characters DO treat her like she's useless and annoying, which may be triggering for some.
You don’t see it and it’s not exactly mentioned but there was a pregnant woman and then we get a timeskip where she’s no longer pregnant and has no baby so we can only assume she had a miscarriage.
the main antagonist of this season runs a cult-like group and is constantly trying to get the characters to stay, and make them believe they're wrong about how they feel about him
Not exactly, Clem does get hit a few times and Carlos (fake doctor degree good for nothing tollbag) hits his own daughter Sarah and not by choice (was forced to do it)
