There are consistent flashbacks of the main character (Chaka) as a child that was chained to a wall to be used as a child sex slave. The flashbacks are while he is sleeping and he startles awake from the nightmares of his past. He is comforted by his older companion each time he wakes from it. I will say this movie handled his past sexual slavery incredibly well in what they chose to show and say about it. The only thing is the ending may feel a little victim blamey in the context of getting revenge.

People voting yes don't understand what this warning and trope are referring to. A 'the black guy dies first' film is one where black characters are exclusively introduced to be disposable and get killed off. it is impossible for this movie to apply to the trope as all but one of the characters are black. not every black character dies in this movie, some survive to the end, and they are all written as full characters to the story, not disposable kill count fodder. its about as far away from this trope as you can get.
