During the reign of King Zhou (Tony Leung Ka-fai), an official enters his bedchamber, and is devoured by the monstrous tails of Daji (Fan Bingbing), his concubine. Outside their city, several warriors within a metal wagon discuss their strategies to free the Invisible People and their Chief, when Jiang Ziya (Jet Li) appears to them. He tells them that when King Zhou was younger, he let himself become possessed by the Black Dragon for his quest for power.

Someone is stabbed with a sword, then falls from a cliff. After landing on the ground, he's still alive and looks intact (which doesn't make sense considering the height he fell from), but he dies moments later. Whether he dies from the wound or from the fall is unclear. I'm not sure if anybody (else) falls to their death.

Well, I don't know about strobes as such, but there are lots and lots of bright lights of different types and colours moving around more or less chaotically including lightning shooting from people's hands) - most of the time. I imagine that people who are bothered by strobe effects will be unable to stand this movie.
