Sorta ish? It’s a parody of a cop drama and the main character is a detective so the tropes are all there. However, most of the law enforcement characters are portrayed as ridiculously incompetent and frequently act in over-the-top unethical ways. The main character even says (paraphrasing) that the safety/protection of the people is not really a priority.

A bit, due to the unusual nature of the show. The guest stars are put in ridiculous and sometimes stressful situations and are teased and dismissed when they question these situations. One is even called “dumb” for asking an insightful question. It’s all in good fun but sometimes they do seem legitimately uncomfortable and/or frustrated.
