ReportWhen Carole Baskin, a big cat enthusiast, learns that when fellow exotic animal lover Joe "Exotic" Schreibvogel is breeding and using his big cats for profit, she sets out to shut down his venture, inciting a quickly escalating rivalry. But Carole has a checkered past of her own and when the claws come out, Joe will stop at nothing to expose what he sees as her hypocrisy.

At the 10 minute mark there is a very sick tiger in a cage after the introduction of Joe exotic. It clearly needs a vet and you can hear it moan In pain.
At the 15 minute mark another mangy sick, very cute tiger is presented in a cage where carol is meant to "rescue" it.
20 minute mark tiger on vet table with breathing apparatus in mouth for examination.
Most animals look clearly CGI
No animal deaths in the first episode.
2nd episode the tiger that Carole rescued has a failing liver, and the vet speaks to her about putting the cat down out of it's misery. As carol says goodbye, the cat reaches out for what it looks like to hold her hand. Heartbreaking.

We see several tigers in bad physical condition during various episodes. In an early episode we see a brief montage of photos of dead or abused tigers. At the end of the series, Joe shoots five tigers to death to punish his business partner. The shooting is shown, though all animals are clearly CGI.
