Dog killed by an intruder with a meat cleaver. Owner finds it dead later on. The actual death is not extremely gruesome(though we hear the dog whimper) but when we see the dead dog later, it’s very clearly not “just sleeping” and later the poor deceased dog’s face is shown fairly close up.

A baby is drowned offscreen. We see the baby discovered later by a family member, laid out on the bed looking like it’s asleep,but when the child touches the baby he recoils in horror, realizing it’s dead.
Later the mother holds another child underwater, but later the child is fortunately resuscitated.
