Nothing onscreen (there are no child characters in the game). However, it's a major point that one faction uses children as a form of currency. It's also mentioned that some parents willingly sell their children.

The main quest "Treason!" can result in a character shooting themself. The scene is graphic. This can be avoided by completing the character's side quests before completing the main quest "The Prince's Secret" or killing them yourself.

There are fade-to-black cutscenes between the protagonist and their companions that are risqué, but this is up to player choice.

There are a few instances where the protagonist will experience a series of visions that flash quickly interspersed with white light flashes.

Nothing intentional, but due to low quality translation, the English subtitles will occasionally regard a female protagonist as male.

It is possible to kill a companion by slitting their throat. One scene shows a group of islanders cutting their palms to perform a ritual. Towards the end of the game, there will be multiple scene of a main character(not the protagonist) cutting their palm.

The main plot involves the protagonist coming to terms with the fact they were lied to their entire life about their origin. Although, once the truth is discovered, no one tries to perpetuate the lie.
One companion's side quests involve various characters lying about a recruit's cause of death and character. When the companion denies these comments, he is told his perception is wrong.

There are regular comments made by numerous people (including one of the companions, Petrus) that are hateful towards the island natives and their culture. These comments include calling them "savages", "heretics", "demon worshipers", "a demonic cult", etc.

Guns are one of the weapons you can use and several cutscenes show the protagonist finishing off an enemy with a pistol (regardless of your weapon). Two of your companions use firearms as weapons. A companion points a gun at the protagonist several times upon first meeting her. Another companion can possibly commit suicide using the protagonist's gun.

After fighting in the battle to find her mother, a companion will choke a man using magical vines. You can tell her to stop. On your first visit to San Matheus, an Inquisitor violently chokes an island native to death. During one main quest, after saving an important islander, that islander has a trauma response and uses magic to temporarily immobilize the protagonist and cause them to choke.

All instances happen off screen, but several parents die or are mentioned to be deceased.
The protagonist's adoptive mother succumbs to the plague. It is mentioned that their adoptive father is legally dead, their birth mother died sometime when they were an infant and their birth father died before they were born.
A main quest involves tracking down a companion's mother, only to discover she was killed. Several side quests deal with reclaiming her body and giving her a proper funeral. The companion's father is mentioned to have died a few years before the game takes place. Another companion mentions that both his parents died when he was young.

There are small crevice passages that De Sardet can quickly pass through if they have a great enough sneak level. These areas are completely optional.

In the De Vespe DLC, the protagonist, their cousin and companions aren't actively stalked, but the main antagonist has a lot of information on them that would be considered private.

A series of side quests involves you investigating a suspicious death. It turns out the recruit (and others) were tortured. One of the companions is revealed to have also been tortured in his backstory.
Later, there is a main quest involving the Bridge Alliance where you discover tortured remains of the islanders.
