Dr. Alex Hoffman, an American ex-pat physicist, creates an AI-driven system that exploits fear in the financial markets and operates at lightning speed to make big returns. But on the day of launch, Alex’s sanity is shaken after he is viciously attacked at his home by a man who knows all of his security codes. After more unexplained occurrences, Alex becomes convinced he’s being framed.

Early into episode 1, there’s an intruder in the house, lead character Alex is hiding behind an outdoor door frame and turns to check if he can see the intruder, and he’s right there at the glass for the jump scare.
Later he sees the same man outside his car out of nowhere.
There’s also another scene where he turns around in his office and his assistant is unexpectedly standing there and scares him

Kind of.. just a typical “the killer’s not actually dead” scenario, except in this show, the “killer” is AI and even though a whole warehouse has been burned up and the machines are all torched, one is somehow still online and a light blinks back on to signify it isn’t “dead”..
