Maybe?? A character is overheard arguing on the phone with a dogwalker about the price, and ends the conversation with "I tell you what ... keep the dog". This is played as a joke, though.

Sort of. Film crews and crowds of fans follow Ed around. One of the many themes of the movie is that Ed sacrifices all privacy when he agrees to being on TV 24/7. Ed also chases Shari through the streets and follows her into a movie theatre after he spots her in a crowd. Ultimately, multiple people are stalked by camera crews.

Nothing is shown, but early in the film Ed jokingly describes his brother treating dogs in an abusive fashion when he ran a mobile dog washing business. Also, around 22 minutes in, someone on the phone says, "I know they shoot horses." It is meant metaphorically and nothing is shown.

Spoiler:
Ed's brother, Ray, cheats on his girlfriend, Shari. TV cameras catch him with a semi-naked woman in his apartment. Ed responds by getting together with Shari, which some might consider cheating as well. Ed learns his parents cheated on each other in the past, but we don't witness it. Ed's mother cheats with her ex-husband and is embarrassed to have this information shared on national TV, but we don't witness the actual cheating.

Ed's brother uses the word "retard" early in the film. The other characters in the scene with him respond with disapproval.

Spoilers: Ray is caught with another woman in his apartment. The woman is shown in her underwear and her behind is clearly visible. There is an intense/raunchy scene of making out, but the characters remain clothed and the action is interrupted by an accident. Most other scenes are relatively mild. Ed is caught making out in a car with Shari. Nothing especially explicit is shown. Many scenes of kissing.
