La tía de Carlos is an Argentine film directed by Leopoldo Torres Ríos, released commercially on August 16, 1946. The script, based on the play Charley's Aunt by Brandon Thomas, is by Torres Ríos himself and May Nilsson. In Argentina the play was performed by Pablo Palitos and Pepe Arias. It features the participation of Pedro Quartucci (in the role of the aunt of the title), Francisco Álvarez, Amanda Varela, Pedro Maratea, Lydia Quintana, Zulma Montes and Gogó Andreu, in the leading roles. The film featured the Francisco Canaro orchestra with Mariano Mores, Alberto Arenas and Vincent Velazco.
