A sea monster is killed in the beginning, and in my opinion its design is reptilian enough for it to be considered a sea serpent or sea dragon. Not everyone may agree, but there's enough overlap in sea monster/sea serpent/dragon categories where this may be upsetting so someone who can't handle dragon death.

One character has an eyepatch, we don't see what's behind it. Implied previous injury.
When fighting against a giant crab the main character pulls on the crab's eyelid. It looks uncomfortable but there's no permanent damage.

Both main characters are orphans. Maisy's parents are mentioned several times, but not in depth. Just that they're gone, and how they died. No flashbacks, etc.

There is a comment a character makes, when she's being sent back to the orphanage that she's being kidnapped. Another responds that this is the opposite of kidnapping. I agree it doesn't properly count but she does struggle and yell as if it's a real kidnapping, which might set some folks off.

no, but when the captain is waking up (around 1:45:10 left) he coughs out water & it sounded similar enough that i had to stop watching for a second, so if you want to be safe just mute the audio for a moment (it’s very quick).

YES!
1)In a scene after the first battle with the sea monsters one of the main characters is being sewn up/getting stitches put in his back as he's doing a reassuring speech to the crew. You don't see the wound, but it's clear what's going on.
2) In a later scene, starting at 1h 30m a character has a blood transfusion IV drip thing happening to her. You don't see the needle proper I think, but the implication is very much there.
3) finally there are two scenes in the middle of the movie where spears are pulled out of a beast's back. This may be reminiscent of needles or splinters to some.

There is a character named Gwen Batterbie, and she is a really horrific antisemitic caricature. Long ratty hair that could only be achieved by not taking care of 3A/3B/3C-type hairs which are common among Jews, gigantic "hooked" nose, the ONLY character with imperfect teeth, inherently immoral, frail body beyond belief, massive and very high cheekbones, small almond-shaped eyes, and considered money-grubbing by the other characters. It's nasty, as a Jew it made me physically sick when I saw her on screen. It's some of the worst that I've seen out of animation in recent years. Thankfully, she is largely irrelevant to the movie and you will not miss anything if you skip the scene she is involved in and do not pay attention to the dialogue of the characters when they talk about her.

The first character to die is a white extra. This being said, the main character is a little black girl and she's put in fatal danger a couple of times. Including a bit of drowning that may be especially alarming to some.

When the beasts are cut, a black ooze implied to be their blood is shown. And near the end a human character discovers another has an injury when they pull their hand away and it has blood on it. Those are the only instances of blood.
