Unfortunately it looks like Moose does die in episode 4. We don't see him again after the unsub stabs him with a needle. Not sure what was in it, but knowing this show, it wasn't just a sedative. You'll know when it's about to happen when you see the guy fill the syringe up with something.
so far, im on episode 7 and no one has said it explicitly. but there are many suicides and a man in i think episode 6 who was begging the BAU to just let him die
Not “major”, but a regular. The Deputy Director Bailey… who you really don’t like that often, but not a terrible person and he has his human moments… is shot in the head by Sicarius in the last episode.
The answer to this is a bit complex *SPOILER AHEAD*
In the second episode of Criminal Minds: Evolution, the team finds out that the leader of the serial killer network instructs the people in the network to kill themselves before they are caught. Therefore, TECHNICALLY these people are “sacrificing” themselves for the network.
i would assume domestic violence doesnt just apply to people who are married and can also be applied to people who are related. the main bad guys uncle regularly abused him when he was living with him and would hit him when he was angry with him.
The main unsub throughout the season, Sicarius, was abused as a Child, and grows up to become a murderer. Flashbacks of his childhood abuse are shown throughout the season.
In season 16, episode 03, “Moose,” the unsub (now named Elias Voit) is torturing/training his previous victim’s sweet, loveable, German Shepherd (Max) into a vicious, snarling dog. And now he’s made Max a weapon, killer. 😭
Sort of… it’s a dog on helpless-man fight. At the end of episode 3, Sicarius (the unsub) uses the German Shepherd (Moose) to kill his newest victim. Moose was stolen from his owner, starved for several days, and then let loose on the next victim. He attacks and kills the man, who is tied up.
Boy gets tossed into a locked area with the corpse of a cat. You do not see the cat get hurt or killed. Just a stuffed animal meant to look like a dead cat.
Sicarius steals a German Shepherd and uses the dog to kill his next victim, then puts him down with a syringe injection in the first couple minutes of episode 4.
Female victim named Rose is drugged by murderer and his assistant in the first scene of episode 5. They give her a drink with something in it that knocks her out, and she wakes up tied to a table.
As of ep4 no—but there is a character in episode 3 who suggests to his son that girls need firm persuading into sexual acts. He has said other sexist things. I wouldn’t be surprised if he pops up in further episodes, or makes further implications about rape.
YES THE GOLD STAR CAMP WAS RAPING THE GIRLS. We don’t see the rape but we see them tied up and positioned and it’s awful and extremely triggering. I’m voting yes because it’s basically as triggering.
Sort of… Rossi is trapped in an underground container at the end of episode 9, and is stuck in there through most of episode 10. Several references to the possibilitiy of him being buried alive.
Although you don’t see someone die from asphyxiation, there is a dead body found with their head wrapped in a plastic bag so it can be assumed that is what they died from.
Because this season is on Paramount+ and not live TV, they seem to have been able to up the violent visuals from past seasons. You see someone’s back being opened; a dog’s muzzle is covered in blood and gore after mauling a man to death, etc.
This depends on your definition of cheating. *SPOILER AHEAD* In the second episode of Criminal Minds: Evolution, people who are a part of the “cuckholding” lifestyle are being targeted. For those who don’t know, “cuckholding” refers to a kink wherein a wife sleeps with a man other than her husband WITH the husbands consent, and this act is sexually pleasing to both the husband and wife.
There’s nothing stating that the killer is mentally ill. But I think they might be. Heads up for anyone that might be triggered,it’s a religious episode.
About 5:50 minutes into episode 6 - Flashback of Sicarius’ childhood where he is locked in a closet sized room with a dead cat. Food passed through the door a few times suggesting he was in there a couple days. Scene lasts less than a minute.
No specific depictions of or references to a physically sexual relationship… but there IS something unusual between the unsub and his mother. There are definite implications of matriarchal domination that would probably make someone sensitive to this subject uncomfortable… plus the name of the episode is “Oedipus Wrecks”, so take that as you will.
***MAJOR SPOILER*** you can tell Penelope had sex with Tyler Green at the end. Nothing is shown though. Just a short make out scene. Then a nosey neighbor comes over and asks about the noise. And you see Tyler covered up with I believe books or magazines on his genital area. So yeah, nothing sex wise is shown but just hinted at.
