An idyllic summer turns into a nightmare of unspeakable terror for yet another group of naive counselors. Ignoring Camp Crystal Lake's bloody legacy, one by one they fall victim to the maniacal Jason who stalks them at every turn.
This movie contains 43 potentially triggering events.
There is a rabbit seen onscreen early on, it is not harmed but it is picked up and held by a shop owner. However, several dead rabbits are seen on the road, presumably being killed from hit by cars.
There was originally going to be a stronger implication that Jason had sexually assaulted the main character (which was cut because, well, WTF), but if you don't know that was the plan I doubt you'd pick up on it (I sure didn't)
Technically yes. There's a guy walking on his hands, and Jason splits him down to his naval. However, you don't really see it because the shot is from the bottom up, so his torso basically hides everything and he collapses dead instantly. No genitalia are ever seen being harmed. You see his body later, in the rafters, all gorey where the incision is, but again, no genitalia are visible.
As someone who is particularly sensitive to this trigger, it didn’t bother me since we don't see the genitals being mutilated, but if the implication alone is too much for you, that's understandable. The timestamp for the murder and body is roughly 1:02:50-1:05:12. Immediately after his wife is stabbed, though so yeah.
The opening depicts the last film's protagonist still reeling from her ordeal with Jason, while the ending depicts this film's in a clear state of distress.
No, if you are incredibly light sensitive the only "flashing lights" are a little lightning right in the beginning (after the flashback scene) and sparks flying out of the fuse box.
Jason, who has a facial difference, is described as grotesque, inhuman, etc (specifically his face too). I'm not sure why people said no about this one.
No, but the black characters in this movie are both criminals, they are the only two in the movie, but one is the first to die past the two deaths that start the movie
