Yes, after the neighbors dog bites Katie, Megan calls the dog into their yard and kills him. It doesn’t show him die, but it shows him being yanked through the fence, and you hear it whimper. Later on in the movie, Megan imitate the dog’s whimpers to call the neighbor into the shed.
