Dog is beat with wood. Very disturbing. Guy takes dog and throws it on the road. Later woman finds dog covered in blood. Extremely unnecessary and disrespectful to the viewer. Dog ends up being ok but that makes no difference cause the damage to my mind has been done.

A character is hit by a car, leaving their leg bent at an odd angle for the majority of the episode. It's unclear if their leg is broken or dislocated, but they can't walk and it's very clearly painful.
While reality is very much on-the-rails, a character starts hallucinating towards the end of the episode. Dead characters appear randomly in crowds, scenes from movies play out as if they are real, and the show gradually gains film grain as the character loses their grip on reality.

Yes, the third episode of the first season focuses on a butcher house and there's also harm to a dog in this episode. I kind of wish I skipped the episode. I will update with any relevant info for folks who care to skip but don't want the gruesome experience of watching. Another commenter said you can skip the episode without missing anything important for the story, too. I'd just say give it a skip.

CGI blood splatter when characters are injured or killed. Some shots of lasting, non-fatal injuries (such as cuts to the leg) are done with practical effects, with camera shots that focus on them. Long, lingering shots of dead bodies with blood pooling around them in several episodes. No visible bones, organs, severed limbs, flayed skin, etc.
Not kidnapped necessarily. In this episode, the main character passes out in the bathroom and wakes up in someone's car. They haven't driven anywhere, the person was tending to their bullet wound. Later, a wrapped corpse of another character is stashed in the vehicle, possibly driven a short distance, and ultimately left by a dumpster.

During a fight, a woman pulls out a syringe to put someone to sleep but she doesn't manage to insert it. This time, you can see its long needle quite clearly.
Yes, there's transphobia and homophobia in episode three. The radio host talks about LGBTQ+ folks in a bigoted/hateful/ignorant manner. Around 42 minutes in, you hear some of this again, followed by revealing that the bigotry is part of a persona and the person is intentionally spreading misinformation as part of a radio persona.
A black man is unalived in episode 2. On a roof and then the alley below. The episode focuses on the main character solving his murder and getting that information passed along so he can face the consequences.
