The camera will shake after you hide in a closet for too long, which becomes more likely on later levels. This will go away after you exit. Many of the jumpscares also have quick movements and will cause the screen to shake a bit. Rushing enemies will also shake the screen when they pass by.

Rushing enemies will cause the lights to flicker briefly. The player’s vision will shake and flash with static if they stay in a closet for too long. The enemy Eyes will fill the room with a bright purple light and if the player accidentally looks at it, a red filter will flash over their screen. Many of the jumpscares are also snappy and can look like flashing imagery. Occasionally, brief flashes of lightning occur as well, which can be intensified if the room is already dark.
